"Virtual Wall" & Photography exhibition at Bentley to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall 25 years ago
On November 9, 2014 it will be twenty-five years since the infamous wall dividing Berlin "fell." The Global Studies Department and the Valente Center are proud to present the "Virtual Wall", an interactive art work that allows the viewers the opportunity to "walk along" the Berlin Wall as it was in the 1980s, and an exhibition of a series of powerful original 1989 photographs depicting scenes of the days that the wall came down.
The exhibition will take place at the McGladrey Art Gallery, located in the Bentley University Library. It will be opened on Monday November 17, 2014 at 4pm by the Dean of Arts and Sciences Daniel Everett and the German Consul General Herr Rolf Schuette. The exhibition is open to the entire Bentley community. The "Virtual Wall" will be available until November 21, 2014. The photographs will be on display until December 9, 2014.
