Mugabe & The White African

Please come out for the next installment of the International Film Series at 6:30 pm in the Wilder Pavilion (AAC165). The film will be introduced by Professor Joni Seager, Chair of the Department of Global Studies. The film chronicles the social justic work of Michael Campbell, one of only a few hun­dred white farmers left in Zimbabwe since President Robert Mugabe began his violent land seizure program in 2000. In 2008, Mike took the unprecedented step of challenging Mugabe before the South African Develop­ment Community international court, charg­ing him and his government with racial dis­crimination and human rights violations.
