Professor Tracy Noga appointed to Wilder Teaching Professorship

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Tracy J. Noga, CPA has been appointed to the Wilder Teaching Professorship. Dr. Noga's appointment is made in recognition of her significant achievement in scholarship, teaching, and service to Bentley. Since joining the University in 2005, Dr. Noga has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her outstanding classroom teaching was recognized by the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants when it awarded her its Outstanding Educator Award for 2009.  In 2017, Dr. Noga received the Gregory H. Adamian Award for Excellence in Teaching. 

 

With respect to scholarship, Dr. Noga's papers have been widely published in academic and practitioner accounting and tax journals. Her papers have received several awards from the American Accounting Association. Dr. Noga also has provided commendable service to Bentley University. Since becoming Faculty Advisor to Bentley's chapter of Beta Alpha Psi in 2016, student membership in the accounting honor society has doubled. Dr. Noga presently serves as Chairperson of the Nominations Committee, and she recently (2016-17) served as Chairperson of Bentley's Promotion and Tenure Committee.
