Author to speak about inequality at Bentley on October 22, 2014.
The Department of Global Studies is co-sponsoring a lecture by Chuck Collins, “Inequality Matters: How Wealth Inequality is Wrecking the World and What We Can Do About It.” The great grandson of the meatpacker Oscar Mayer, Collins is co-founder of Wealth for the Common Good and The Patriotic Millionaires, two organizations that advocate for fair tax policy. Among the books that he has authored or co-authored is Wealth and Our Commonwealth: Why America Should Tax Accumulated Fortunes, a book that Collins co-authored with Bill Gates.
